THE MAN WHO CAN'T BE MOVED (I'M NOT MOVING...)

As in today, September 25th of 2008, almost 2 years since I met that wonderful guy in Florida, I decided not to suffer anymore...

The fact that he's so far away from me makes me so sad.

I can't stop thinking of you Jorge... You are such an incredible guy and I can't deal with this loneliness that is breaking my heart.

I got nothing but love and affection for you.

You know that you will always be in my heart and I keep the best memories of this splendid time that I spent with you. I have cherished and adored all that you have shared with me.

Maybe some day you will understand all my feelings for you and we will meet again in the corner of that bar where we met.

I'll be there waiting for you to show you that the reason that I was wearing a cap was not because I'm getting bald.

The dj will play that Talk Talk's It's my life song and Bruno will stay with you in Florida.

I long to hold you close and never let you go papo lindo.

I'll be here for you...

I'M NOT MOVING...

FROM NOW ON I'LL BE THE MAN WHO CAN'T BE MOVED...

The Man Who Can't Be Moved

(The Script)

Going back to the corner where I first saw you

Gonna camp in my sleeping bag, I'm not gonna move

Got some words on cardboard, got your picture in my hand

Saying if you see this guy can you tell him where I am

Some try to hand me money they don't understand,

I'm not broke, I'm just a broken hearted man,

I know it makes no sense, but what else can I do,

How can I move on when I'm still in love with you...

Cos if one day you wake up and find that you're missing me,

And your heart starts to wonder where on this earth I can be,

Thinking maybe you'll come back here to the place that we'd meet,

And you'd see me waiting for you on the corner of the street.

So I'm not moving... I'm not moving...

Policeman says, son you can't stay here,

I said there's someone I'm waiting for if it's a day, a month, a year,

Gotta stand my ground even if it rains or snows,

If he changes his mind this is the first place he will go.

Cos if one day you wake up and find that you're missing me,

And your heart starts to wonder where on this earth I can be,

Thinking maybe you'll come back here to the place that we'd meet,

And you'd see me waiting for you on the corner of the street.

So I'm not moving... I'm not moving.

I'm not moving... I'm not moving...

People talk about the guy

Who's waiting on a guy...

There are no holes in his shoes

But a big hole in his world
Maybe I'll get famous as The man who can't be moved,

And maybe you won't mean to but you'll see me on the news,

And you'll come running to the corner...

Cos you'll know it's just for you

I'm the man who can't be moved

I'm the man who can't be moved...

Cos if one day you wake up and find that you're missing me,

And your heart starts to wonder where on this earth I can be,

Thinking maybe you'll come back here to the place that we'd meet,

And you'd see me waiting for you on the corner of the street.

So I'm not moving... I'm not moving.I'm not moving... I'm not moving.

Going back to the corner where I first saw you,

Gonna camp in my sleeping bag not I'm not gonna move...

WELCOME TO MY WORLD (As in right now)

It's freaking 3 am in the morning and I can't sleep since I've been sleeping the whole day trying to get rid of this terrible cold.

While surfing on the net I found a couple stories that made me think of how funny this gay world of mine is.

Tuesday, 3pm

First, Georgie got busted AGAIN for posession of crack cocaine and marihuana.

Seriously man, aren't you old enough and somehow refined to get caught in this kind of situations?

Come on Georgie, leave these matters to the pros!! (T-Pain, Lil Wayne, T.I.)

Tuesday, 6pm

After taking a long nap and crying to the scene of the SEX AND THE CITY movie where Carrie finds Mr. Big contemplating the Manolos left inside the walking closing (How gay is that!), I found the story that should be the funniest of this year!!

CLAY AIKEN IS GAY!!!

What else is new? The entire world knew it from day one!!

Congratulations for your newborn and your decision to come out of the closet.

After reading this story I couldn't help by wonder if I ever going to have the chance to tell my mom about myself. And even when my sister already knows, I really wanna have that special moment with mama to tell her everything about me.

I will definitely do it in her next visit. Phone call conversation are not the best for me.

Next November is going to be 10 years of my "coming out of the closet" and being true to myself. I'm designing a list of 100 songs that mean a lot to me during those happy and also sad moments that I've had since 1998.

In the meantime here's a list that I made for the occassion.

NO WONDER SMELLS LIKE TEEN SPIRIT...

Grey's anatomy, Frasier, Starbucks and Grunge music.

Those are the things that come to my mind everytime that I hear the word SEATTLE.

Well, this Seattle of Cobain is a beautiful and vibrant city where I experienced the most splendid time and learned some other things that I want to share with you.

THE SHOW IS IN THE MARKET

After a couple days recovering from a swollen ankle, I started my city tour visiting the Pike Place Market where I found the famous fishmongers of the Fish Market.

They are really the stars of this place. You can find them any time of the day hurling customers' orders across the shopping area. A typical routine will involve a customer ordering a fish, with their fishmongers in orange rubber overalls and boots calling out the order, which is loudly shouted back by all the other staff, at which point the original fishmonger will throw the customer's fish behind the counter for wrapping. Is like COCKTAIL meets COYOTE UGLY's entertainment. VERY FUNNY!!

Is in this Market where you can also find Rachel, an oversized bronze piggy bank or a police officer on a four legs vehicle trying to share (or steal) the stardom of the fish guys. He was really a celebrity that afternoon.

A couple blocks later I found another different kind of crowd enjoying the folk music played by a band located right outside the congested and original Starbucks store.

WHEN YOU'VE GOT WORRIES, ALL THE NOISE AND THE HURRY SEEMS TO HELP...

So I went downtown and visited SAM (Seattle Art Museum).

Well, actually I just walked by...

While in the heart of the city, I heard somebody talking about the Bumbershoot which is a urban arts and music festival...

...this nightclub was having its very own festival.

I swear to god, I just only walked by this nightclub... SERIOUSLY!!

I won't lie, I really like their philosophy. After all:

While walking down Pine street, on my way to the Convention Center Area, I found this little newyorker that apparently was taking some days off during this labor day weekend.

Remember the E train station on the Chelsea Area (14th St.)? Yeah, that's him!!

I also made it to The Pioneer Square and Chinatown, (aka International District).

Sorry, no pictures!! Blame it on that pinche little guy whose picture was the last one that I took when my camera battery died minutes later...

EXPERIENCING JIMMY AND THE NEEDLE

While walking in the area where I stayed, the colourful and flamboyant Capitol Hill, I found the statue of rock god Jimmy Hendrix. Half hour later I found myself experiencing his music, getting lost in memorabilia-land and having a magical musical tour in the interactive Experience Music Project. It was heaven for me.

The space needle was impossible to miss and irresistible for a memorable picture

Couple pitchers of wheat beer, later that night, I paid my own tribute to Jimmy...

ENTER THE DRAGON

Recovered from a crazy night (at least that's what I thought) my friends invited me to see the Snoqualmie Falls. It took almost 45 minutes to get there and less than 10 minutes to leave due to the horrible vertigo sensation that I had while watching the waterfalls.

It was caught in camera right before my visit to the bathroom.

Ready...

Dizzy...

Gone!

A more peaceful and steady environment in Volunteer Park gave us a beautiful view of the city from the Observatory Tower.

This park is also a notorious gay pick up scene at night. Kind of like The Rambles of our Central Park.

Next to the park we found a cementery and a big crowd in front of a couple of graves. Following the big line to these graves we ended up in front of Kung Fu legends father and son Bruce and Brandon Lee.

..and showed the Lees some respect, Pat Morita style...

I know... These are karate moves...

Well, it doesn't matter anymore. After this, I will be killed by the chinese mob or going straight to Fu -manchu hell!!

IT'S ALL ABOUT THE GOOD TIMES...

The good times that I spent in this joyful city exploring these ravishing places and most important, hanging out with friends that I haven't seen in years, meeting new friends, drinking margaritas and pitchers of Blue Moon and also finding out that I'm into bears... LOL!! (Gay joke)...

Thanks Emerald City!! I will come back...

Cheers amigos!!!
