BEST OF EL OCHO: TOP 100 SONGS OF 2008 (Part Dos)

90
No Air - JORDIN SPARKS AND CHRIS BROWN

89
California Girls - THE MAGNETIC FIELDS

88
I'm Not Gonna Teach Your Boyfriend How To Dance With You - THE BLACK KIDS

A little bit The Cure, a little bit hipster pop.

There's something weirdly out of time about this song. It was on a self-released EP in 2007, but I could swear I heard it playing over the credits of some 1980s John Hughes film. But then when I picture the scene where the song's story takes place, I'm seeing a high school gym with streamers out of a sock-hop.

The phrase "he's got two left feet…" is pure Arthur Murray, but "…and he bites my moves" suggests the kids in question grew up in the post-hip-hop era. The references, like the kinda sloppy playing, are all over the place. But there's a thread throughout, and it's an eternal pop aspiration: to transform insecurity into a joyous, world-conquering sing-along.
87
The Day That Never Comes - METALLICA
Don't call it a come back!! It's just another great Metallica song.
86
Lights Out - SANTOGOLD

Rolling Stone compared "Lights Out" to "a lost Pretenders single." NME, meanwhile, said the song "harkens back to the sleek ’80s new wave of The Cars."

"Lights Out" also received comparisons to the Pixies; The Village Voice stated it "channel[s] the Pixies with a punk-pop sound fueled by spare guitar plucks, simple drum patterns, and lyrics delivered in a talk-sing stutter with random falsetto breaks."

For me, this tune is perfect, faultless: a complete peach.

85
Bruises - CHAIRLIFT

Another song brought to you in 2008 by the self proclaimed cool and smart frenemy of the Windows team.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GkRBKujSBCo&feature=related
84
On A Day Like This - ELBOW

"One Day Like This" sounds like a glorious song with its faster march and sunnier attitude, buoyed by strings and massed vocals despite a deceptive but welcome surfeit of space in the mix.

83
Handlebars - FLOBOTS

"The song is about the idea that we have so much incredible potential as human beings to be destructive or to be creative and it's tragic to me that the appetite for military innovation is endless, but when it comes to taking on a project like ending world hunger, it's seen as outlandish. It's not treated with the same seriousness. We really know it's just a lame, but catchy song we wanted to do at the same time, I knew there were people at that moment who were being bombed by our own country. And I thought that was incredibly powerful"
Lead Singer MC Jonny 5 a.k.a. Jamie Laurie

82
Dance Wiv Me - DIZZIE RASCAL FT. CALVIN HARRIS & CHROME

One of the most talented and under rated rappers of this new era. This tune was a massive hit in the UK and sadly never made it to the US charts.

81
Blind Mary - GNARLS BARKLEY
80 TIE
Elvis Ain't Dead - SCOUTING FOR GIRLS

Here's a little story for you. One of my good friends from college decided to propose his sweetheart back in December of 2007. He is a great guy, goodlooking turkish guy, probably the biggest fan of Elvis in the world. I remember him singing Love me tender to his girlfriend on a phone conversation.

Months later after the proposal, he found out that she was cheating on him. The wedding was canceled in March of 2008 and she got engaged again to her lover in June.

My good friend was so devastated for a couple weeks. On a phone conversation I remember telling him about this tune from the british band Scouting For Girls. I told him that the song reminds me of him because of the Elvis reference. After he heard the song he told me that he got a great idea. Well, for what I heard from some friends in Turkey, he crashed the wedding party of his ex with his boombox and "lip sync" -ed the song as a wedding gift to the cheater bride.

Listen to the lyrics and picture this story in a different music video. You will be amazed!!

75
Great DJ - THE TING TINGS

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HhZ5-L9znt8

The indie-electronic version of the White Stripes (funny fact: The singer's name is Katie WHITE) are my favorite new artist of 2008 and We Started Nothing probably the most played album in my iPod. This is the first of THREE songs of the duo in this countdown. The song samples chords and drum beat from Eddie Money's 1978 hit Baby Hold On.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wQjHwnxxDIk
74
Cold Shoulder - ADELE

What a great year was 2008 for Adele. In January Adele topped BBC's new music talent list, which was compiled from the votes of 150 music critics. In February, she was the first recipient of the BRIT Awards Critics' Choice, which was given to artists who, at the time, had yet to release an album. She debuted at number one with her Mercury Prize-nominated debut album 19 on the UK album chart; the disc has since been certified platinum with sales of more than 500,000 copies.
After the album peaked at #54 on the Billboard 200 chart on 8 July, 2008, Adele performed before more than 17 million television viewers on Saturday Night Live, leading to a very strong showing on a couple of notable download charts, and leading the album to leap from #46 to #11 on the official chart.

The #72 of 2008 is the first of 2 songs the british singer includes in this countdown. There's more Adele on the way!!

73
Come On Girl - TAIO CRUZ FT. LUCIANA
72
Infinity 2008 - GURU JOSH PROJECT
This is one of many 90's dance hits remixed for 2008. The original version of this track was released during my last year of high school back in 1990.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w9KnuJZkBjg

71
Better In Time - LEONA LEWIS

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VrNoDUblAtE
The most popular british singer in the world right now had her glorious moment when she performed the classic Whole Lotta Love with rock god Jimmy Page during the 2008 Olympics Closing Ceremony. One of the highlights of 2008.

70
Superstar - LUPE FIASCO FT. MATTHEW SANTOS

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3gRVy5jiPcM
69
Piece Of Me - BRITNEY SPEARS

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f4NayXtzsBo
68
Love In This Club - USHER FT. YOUNG JEEZY
As far as pick-up lines go, "I want to make love in this club" is about two drinks away from, "Let's fuck in the bathroom." But it's not about the line, it's about the delivery, and "Love in This Club"'s delivery is impeccable. Just he like did on Ciara's "Promise", producer Polow da Don creates a musical backdrop that sounds like it's in slow motion, this time thanks to a stuttering synth figure that hangs behind the beat. Like the musical equivalent of a disco ball, the song is shimmering and seemingly suspended in mid-air. For four and a half minutes, Usher almost makes it seem not ridiculous to "get undressed right here," and what higher goal is there for R&B than to make the ridiculous sublime?
67
Something Good '08 - UTAH SAINTS

The number 67 song of 2008 its also THE BEST VIDEO OF 2008!!

http://cereghinology.blogspot.com/2008/12/best-of-el-ocho-music-videos.html
66
Inní mér syngur vitleysingur - SIGUR ROS

There is only 3 songs in this countdown performed in a foreign language.

Juana Molina's Lives Lonely ranked on # 93. Islanders Sigur Ros end up in the #66 of 2008 with the "finally a more optimistic" tune Within me a lunatic sings from their 5th album Með suð í eyrum við spilum endalaust (With Buzzing in Our Ears We Play Endlessly).

Get ready for your lesson of Bambara from a Mali's blind couple. Coming up later in the countdown.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aAYY_sU3PfM
During the hot and wet summer of 2008 Foo Fighters teamed up with members of Led Zeppelin for a surprise performance in London. Jimmy Page and John Paul Jones joined Dave Grohl and his band on the second night of their weekend residency at Wembley Stadium. Although singer Robert Plant was busy on solo duties in America, it was the first time members of the rock legends had united onstage since their legendary O2 Arena show in the UK's capital in December of 2007. The one-night-only supergroup came together at the encore of the Foos' show, performing classics 'Rock And Roll' and 'Ramble On'.
During 'Rock And Roll', Grohl returned to the drums in a switchover that saw Foos drummer Taylor Hawkins taking lead vocals.
As Page and Jones left the stage before a final encore of 'Best Of You', an ecstatic Grohl shouted "Welcome to the greatest fucking day of my life!"
64
Low - FLO RIDA FT. T-PAIN

"The boots with the fur" song was proclaimed by Billboard Magazine the #1 of 2008. Really??
63
That's Not My Name - THE TING TINGS

"I used to work with a girl called Ting Ting. It means an old bandstand in Mandarin Chinese, and it also means the sound of innovation and an open mind. At first we were quite blasé because we thought we'd just be naming our band to play to our friends at parties, so we didn't spend hours and hours deliberating over the name. I like it, though. I'm quite happy with it."

Ting Tings' singer Katie White

62
Love Lockdown - KANYE WEST

"Love Lockdown" was written by Kanye West less than ten days before it premiered live as the finale of the 2008 MTV VMAs on September 7, 2008. West has cited the track as his "favorite to date", saying "go where your heart takes you". The song marks a drastic change for West, standing as his first solo single to feature no rapping, instead sung using the vocal effect of Auto-Tune. Due to negative feedback from fans, Kanye re-recorded the song. In addition to re-recording the vocals, the newer version of the song uses "new taiko drums".

61
Take A Bow - RIHANNA

The Irreplaceable of 2008. So lame to use the same formula...

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B8XC7idFyvE

60
Oxford Comma - VAMPIRE WEEKEND

They are by far my favorite band of 2008!!

In January of 2008, Michael Hogan of Vanity Fair interviewed singer Ezra Koenig, regarding the title of the song and its relevance to the song's meaning. Koenig said that he first encountered the Oxford comma when a group of Columbia University students had created a group titled "Students for the Preservation of the Oxford Comma", which prompted the idea of the song several months later whilst sitting at a piano in his parent's house.

He began "writing the song and the first thing that came out was 'Who gives a fuck about an Oxford comma?'". He stated that the song "is more about not giving a fuck than about Oxford commas."

The video of this song features one my good friends chasing the band at the end of the music clip.

My lovely Clarke, I miss you!!

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P_i1xk07o4g

59
Wonder - COLIN MELOY

One of the most beautiful compositions written to a newborn:

"An ankle, an earlobe, an elbow bone
It's weird how it wonderful grows
And it was only me and you
That made this three come out of two..."

This is dedicated to baby Meloy from The Decemberist dad Colin.

58
Sexual Seduction - SNOOP DOGG FT. T-PAIN

The godfather of the hip hop went purple and made some doves cry for this video.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pKz-RXSeIYA

57
4 Minutes - MADONNA FT. JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE

This song scored Madge her 37th Billboard Hot 100 Top 10 hit, making her the artist with the most Top 10 hits in the history of the chart, surpassing Elvis Presley.
In the UK, she retained her record for the most number one singles for a female artist, this being her 13th.
The video has been one of the most watched videos on YouTube in 2008, and the most watched video of Madonna's career, with over 52 million views in just 6 months, as of October 27th, 2008.
4 Minutes is officially nominated for the 51st Grammy Awards under the category of Best Pop Collaboration With Vocals.

Not bad for the year that the pop queen turned 50!!

VIVA MADONNA!!!

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=39beBdWi--o

56
That's What You Get - PARAMORE

At first, I thought this was one more of those crappy emo music bands. But then when I hear the Riot! cd I realized that the Tennesse band has so much potential!!

Their pop punk music sounds like Kelly Clarkson's wildest dreams or a ska-less version of No Doubt, singer Hayley Williams being a younger version of Gwen Stefani.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ddrSebcsogE

55
Whatever You Like - T.I.

HOTTEST BLACK MAN ON EARTH!! He is soooo fine!!!

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kteICbq7au4&feature=related

54
Womanizer - BRITNEY SPEARS

It's Britney bitch! And she is back again!!

53
Touch Me I'm Going To Scream Pt. 2 - MY MORNING JACKET

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=blZOs2Yxr68&feature=related

52
Dancing Choose - TV ON THE RADIO

It feels so good to know that you can be considered one of the best bands in the world regardless the amount of album copies sales. You hear that Lil' Wayne?

This is definitely a big achievement for TV ON THE RADIO during this difficult time for the record industry.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n7mMoc-x_v0

51
Like This - GIRL TALK

Gregg Gillis began making music while studying biomedical engineering in Cleveland, Ohio. He specializes in mashup style remixes, in which he uses often a dozen or more unauthorized samples from different songs to create a new song; The New York Times Magazine has called his music "a lawsuit waiting to happen."

DJ Girl Talk is in my opinion the best live act of this year!! If he ever performs in your town, go see him. His show is INSANE!!

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zro_jdcbzkU

It was in the summer of 08' that I saw him for the first time in the ALL POINTS WEST show in New Jersey.

Check this out and see what I mean:

BEST OF EL OCHO: THE TOP 100 SONGS OF 2008

100
Daddy's Gone - GLASVEGAS

The scotttish rock band lead by James Allan (who looks like a chubby Joe Strummer) have gotten great reviews of their debut album all over Europe.

"Daddy's Gone" sold out and was voted the number two single of the year by NME magazine.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3uSdQxKaBfU

99
Crazy World - J MAJIK & WICKAMAN VS. KATHY BROWN

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=STNmsXrriY0

98 TIE

Human- THE KILLERS
Are we human or are we dancer? QUE?????

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n6r4KT8-VX0

Gamma Ray - BECK

The great Beck released another great album during this 2008. Modern Guilt was produced by himself and DJ Danger Mouse. This track is an example of that powerful collabo.

97
Pocketful Of Sunshine - NATASHA BEDINGFIELD

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w2XcqKaXDIY

96
Green Light JOHN LEGEND FT. ANDRE 3000

AKA the track where John Legend was pimped out by Ice Cold.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_hd-uklv-5g

95
Midnight Madness - THE CHEMICAL BROTHERS

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UoaeEAdDv-c

94
New Soul - YAEL NAIM

The first of many songs use by Apple for their gadgets' advertising campaigns. This one is from this complete unknown Israeli - French singer-songwriter. Yael Naim rose to worldwide fame in 2008 thanks to this track.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UK_fI8tjNvA&feature=related

93 TIE

This position is tied by 2 songs that I have played in my ipod several times during 2008. Especially when I feel so vulnerable and lonely.

Vive Solo - JUANA MOLINA

Imagine if Tina Fey quit comedy and sang electronics-based folk songs. That's the path Juana Molina took more than 10 years ago in her native Argentina, leaving her job as a TV comedian to pursue experimental folk. Her fifth disc is her most adventurous, combining avant-garde vocals with the atmospherics of Portishead and My Bloody Valentine. With looped guitar, hypnotic percussion and a bit of feedback, the title track sounds like two songs playing at once.

Like Brian Wilson or Kevin Shields, The Latin Bjork pulls off the most out-there material with melodies nearly as accessible as conventional pop.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=brZ79TL0Nho

Take me home - THE GILLEMOTS

Beautiful tune by one of my favorite british bands from the last 5 years. Is the kind of song that you wanna hear when you are in a big celebration scene and all of the sudden you feel that you don't belong there or simply you are not in that happy state. You just want to sit, relax and see your loved ones. This was my 2008 Christmas and New Year's eve theme song.

OMG!! I'm such a drama queen!! LOL!!!

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HHZIMZUwfmY

92
Just Dance - LADY GAGA FT. AKON & COLBY O'DONIS

This song has been around in the charts for more than 6 months!! I remember that the first time that I hear it was when the Gaga lady perform for the Miss Universe event.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M65zI9LH-as

The song rocketed up the worldwide Top 10 charts in late 2008, got a Grammy nomination for Best Dance Song and became the everybody's jam during the last hours of 2008.

"If you've ever been so high that it's, like, scary, the only way you can deal with it is not deal with it, so you just kind of dance through the intoxication. I wrote the song the day after I had just flew in from New York to L.A., so I was taken very quickly out of my party lifestyle. I wrote it instantly—like it flew out of my body. I'd been working on this album for two-and-a-half years, and I was at a crossroads with my songwriting. I was trying to be so cool with my own music, but I would get better responses when I would write for other artists because I was not trying to be cool. So when I did "Just Dance", that was my way of being like, "just fuckin' write a good song. Stop worrying about what's going to fly in the underground. Worry about writing a great record." Actually, that record ended up being more powerful than any of the songs that I racked my brain writing, and after that, it was an influx of record after record. It was almost like a switch went off in my brain, and I figured out how to write a good pop song"

LADY GAGA

BEST OF EL OCHO: UNDER THE TOP 100

The TOP 100 SONGS OF 2008 are coming next.
These are the tunes that didn't make the cut (From #125 to #101)
125. TIE
Back Of The Van LADYHAWKE
Ladyhawke is noted as being influenced by 1980s music. The New Zealander could secretly be Kim Wilde’s daughter for all we know. Or maybe Patty Smyth from Scandal—remember her?
Scream TIMBALAND FT. KERI HILSON AND MICHELLE SCHERZINGER
Probably one of the sexiest lyrics of this year. Timba and the girls are so naughty! Makes me wanna spank them!!
Can I have of your cookies? Can I have some of your pie?
Listen to the last part of the album version of this song (starting at 3:58).
STEAMY HOT!!!!
124. Love Is A Losing Game AMY WINEHOUSE
Now that Blake is out of jail, We are expecting new material Miss!
123. One Day OPSHOP
Another New Zealand act that caught my attention during this year (They are doing great music over there!!). Beautiful song, sexy singer.
122. Clumsy FERGIE
121. Fools THE DODOS
120. Rise FLOBOTS
The day that Obama won the Presidential Election and while I was walking down Broadway Avenue to Union Square Park I experienced the most spectacular image of overjoyed people in the streets.
This song was playing in my iPod and somehow became the soundtrack of this important day in the history of our country.
RISE, TOGETHER WE RISE!!!
119. One Pure Thought HOT CHIP
118. Love Remains The Same GAVIN ROSSDALE
This song unexpectedly became the Gwen Stefani's spouse first top 40 hit in United States since 1995 when his former band Bush scored hits with "Comedown" and "Glycerine." It has since become more successful than Gavin's biggest hits in Bush from the mid 1990s and is now his most successful track.
117. Hollow Man R.E.M.
I still can't understand how I missed their NYC shows this year. Hopefully I will be Michael's server next time that he visits TABLA. I'll keep my fingers crossed.
116. Love Is Noise THE VERVE
Half Teletubby, Half Brit Pop , Love is Noise is the song that marked the big 2008 comeback to this great band from the 90s.
115. Love Is The End KEANE
By far the best song included in their 3rd production. The album is OK. There's nothing like the supreme Hopes and Fears.
114. Happiness GOLDFRAPP
113. Oh My God IDA MARIA
112.
Tree Hugger ANTSY PANTS AND KIMYA DAWSON (From "Juno")
111. Look No Further DIDO
Safe Trip Home, her first album in more than 5 years might be Dido's least adventurous to date, her brand of vanilla soul going down like a warm cup of milk. This song was release as a free download back in August. Ever since that day I felt in love with the haunting sound of this song.
Simply Lovely!
110. Graveyard Girl M83
109. The Way I Am INGRID MICHAELSON
108. Pork And Beans WEEZER
107. 5 Years Time NOAH AND THE WHALE
The perfect summer song of 2008, remember?
106. Balloons FOALS
105. Granite PENDULUM
These aussies are bringing Drum and Bass back!!
104. Strange Overtones DAVID BYRNE AND BRIAN ENO
One of so many great songs included in the album Everything That Happens Will Happen Today. This collection was released on August 18, 2008 it's the first collaboration between the two music geniuses since 1981's My Life in the Bush of Ghosts. Byrne and Eno worked on creating the album—a mix of electronic and Gospel music throughout 2007 and early 2008 over e-mail and have used word-of-mouth and Internet sales to market the music.
103. Heart of Chambers BEACH HOUSE
102. Courtship dating CRYSTAL CASTLES
The canadian duo music music is easily recognized by their heavy use of samples and distorted female vocals. Their musical style has been described as having "ferocious, asphyxiating sheets of warped two-dimensional Gameboy glitches and bruising drum bombast pierce [the] skull with sheer shrill force, burrowing deep into the brain like a fever".
101. Lollipop LIL' WAYNE
Album of the Year? Song of the Year? Really?

BEST OF EL OCHO: MUSIC VIDEOS

10.
Womanizer - BRITNEY SPEARS

Forget about Piece of me, the MTV proclaimed Video of the Year (Seriously?)

La Spears made her big 08' comeback with this video that features one of the sexiest characters in a video since Robert Palmer's Addicted to love.

And yeah, naked Britney too...

This clip also includes the biggest mystery of 2008. What does that date on the Womanizer's Blackberry means? (April 20th?)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gZSLIq6YiRY

9.
Single ladies (Put a ring on it) - BEYONCE

It was about time that Beyonce releases her inside diva!! Hands down the best choreography in a music video this year.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=REHbgBPkvEE

8. Happiness - GOLDFRAPP

When I first watched this clip, it brought me cool memories of the time when I used to play this on and on and on and on... in my brand new Betamax player.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8ImTo2uqSoE&feature=related

Years later I found out that this Peter Wolf video (former J. Geils Band singer) was inspired by an scene from Bobby Van's movie Take me to Broadway (1953)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5bKwsUnd2F0

This year's version by British dance duo Goldfrapp gives you an idea on how stupid that overjoy feeling would make you feel.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=So93Iny2HWI

7. Pork and Beans - WEEZER

Your welcome youtube!!

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=muP9eH2p2PI

6. House of cards - RADIOHEAD

No lights, no cameras, ACTION!! That was basically the concept for this video,, 3-D plotting technologies reconstructed the geometry of Thom Yorke's face and the two directors' houses. Cameras and light are sooo June 2008, so they didn't use those things. The resulting laser-light show is exactly how I pictured "House of Cards" in my head. Ha! No.

Anyway, even if the video's a little too Epcot Center's Journey Into Imagination for your tastes, it's a cool concept.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8nTFjVm9sTQ

5.
Shut up and let me go - THE TING TINGS

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=StP-yIQeT2o

This is the one that deserved the MTV Video of the Year, not Britney!!

Made popular by an iPod commercial, the catchy beats of the British duo's tune are complemented by kung-fu moves and angular views.

Worried about finding love? Success? Happiness? Look into the mystical diamond and see the future in this awesome video.

4. Flashing lights - KANYE WEST

Another Spike Jonze's classic!!

I wonder what was the theme for the conception of this clip. Probably F*#% MTV!!

It's so understandable after Kanye's big lost of Video of The Year in 2007.

Well done mate!!

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mEccxPPwXmI

3. TIE

Toe Jam - BPA FT. DAVID BYRNE AND DIZZEE RASCAL

http://cereghinology.blogspot.com/2008/07/lets-watch-some-70s-porn_9854.html

A punk - VAMPIRE WEEKEND

2. Who's gonna save my soul now? - GNARLS BARKLEY

Hey MTV! Here's one more for your list of 2008 Hit and Miss.

This video brilliantly describes how devastated you could feel in a "It's not you it's me" conversation. Somehow this year I was not indifferent to this feeling.

http://cereghinology.blogspot.com/2008/08/whos-gonna-save-my-soul-now.html

BEST VIDEO OF THE YEAR

Have you ever asked yourself how the Hammer got his moves? or from who?

19 years later, finally the answer of this question is revealed in this video.

The song is the 08' remix of the massive hit by UTAH SAINTS from 1992. If that female voice sounds familiar to you is because is a sample of Kate Bush's song, Cloudbusting (1985).

Here's to you THE BEST VIDEO OF EL OCHO, is WICKED!!!

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hhV8WlMvvGA

Stay tune amigos! There's more Best of El Ocho on the way...

All I want for Christmas is you - MARIAH CAREY (1994)http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-8rY0Fyws20

According to The New Yorker, it is "one of the few worthy modern additions to the holiday canon".

And talkin' about canon, Mrs. Cannon would agree with all of us that this song has become a new christmas classic of the last 25 years.

Despite the common misconception that Carey covered this song, the track is an original song written by the then Mrs. Mottola and Producer Walter Afanasieff in 1994.

MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE!!!

THE BEST OF EL OCHO

According to my computer's media library and my bank account I have downloaded more than 600 songs, taken more than 500 pictures and spent "mucho dinero" in fun stuff during this year.

All these 08' music, images and cool stuff has been an important part of my very own kid, CEREGHINOLOGY blog.

Starting today and until this little puppy turn 1 year old (next January 1st), I'll be reviewing and presenting everything 2008 from the best of music to my favorite moments of the last 12 months.

Get ready, its going to be MASSIVE!!!

PS:
While you wait for the first post of "The best of 2008" here's some dal and rice on me...
