SOUNDTRACK OF A SITUATION, The Wings

This is a new section in my blog that it's been created to share some videos and songs that find a peculiar meaning in my daily life while listening to my ipod.

These songs had defined memories or just make me think of a melodic theme for different types of situations.

The first SOS is dedicated to actor Heath Ledger that died this afternoon.

This is the main theme of the BROKEBACK MOUNTAIN movie titled 'THE WINGS".

It was composed by the great GUSTAVO SANTAOLALLA, that has produced the most amazing spanish rock music albums released in the last 15 years.

His musical composition for this movie along with the beautiful theme song performed by Emmylou Harris, "A LOVE THAT WILL NEVER GROW OLD", won the Academy Awards and even when the gay cowboy story didn't get the Oscar for Best Motion Picture, the love of Ellis and Jack will remain inmortal in our memories.
